Ashton Kutcher is set to launch a sitcom based on a cheeky Twitter feed

Ashton Kutcher is set to launch a sitcom based on a cheeky Twitter feed, according to US reports.

Hot on the heels of the successful debut of their series $#*! My Dad Says, starring William Shatner, US broadcaster CBS has announced they are developing a second show based on Twitter.

Social media master Ashton Kutcher will be the executive producer of the sitcom, based on the feed Don't Tell Steve, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

The tweets describe the disgusting and often drunken antics of the author's room mate Steve.

Samples include, 'Steve is loudly challenging people to a drinking contest. Nobody biting, so he's just doing shots and declaring himself the winner' and 'Steve, just now, yelling from our bathroom: 'Total Asparagus pee bro! Come smell!''

$#*! My Dad Says was based on the Twitter feed S**t My Dad Says, which has since become a book.
