referral ad tracking. Stats make the difference and save money

This is in regard to bringing in referrals. The most successful affiliate sites I have worked with both use effective stats to help their affiliate refine their ad campaigns and save money.

Let me explain:

Let's assume a guy buys some ads for his sponsored tweet link at site A and also buys some ST ads at site B. Where ST stats comes in handy and saves money is affiliates will get the (this is important for obvious reasons)anonymous raw data that tells him which ad is more effective. With proper tracking you can show your affiliates that when he spend $10 on site A to advertise his tweet link not only did 12 people sign up but two of those people became advertisers and bought ads while four became publishers.

Now at site B the tracking tells him the same money spent brought in 50 referrals but none of them did anything. This tells the affiliate that he is getting his best value for money from site A. He can thus stop wasting his money at site B and increase his spending at site A.
